Location: About 1 mile east of entrance to Río Vélez, south coast of Spain.

Notes:
This is the fourth of five lighthouses built at this location. The 1864 lighthouse here was destroyed by an earthquake in 1880. A wooden tower served until 1930, when a masonry tower was built. This lighthouse, built in 1969, was replaced by a taller tower nearby in 1974.
