Managing Organization: Town of Manteo
Notes: This is a replica of an 1877 screwpile lighthouse that was located offshore in Croatan Sound. In 2005, an old storm signal tower that once stood in Manteo was reinstalled near the lighthouse. The North Carolina Maritime Museum plans to fly storm warning flags when appropriate. Description of Tower: Short tower and lantern on roof of 1 1/2 story wooden keeper's house.

Date Present Tower Built: 2004 Current Use: Historic exhibit. Open To Public? Yes. Museum? The replica was completed in September 2004. The replica will house historical and educational activities under the auspices of the North Carolina Maritime Museum.
