This light was originally a steel skeletal tower, but the municipality of of Caraquet had a wooden superstructure built around it, making it look like a more traditional lighthouse. Tower Height: 50 Height of Focal Plane: 64 Characteristic and Range: Fixed red. Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal wooden tower with red trim.
