This light was originally a steel skeletal tower, but the municipality of of Caraquet had a wooden superstructure built around it, making it look like a more traditional lighthouse.

Characteristic and Range: Fixed red.

Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal wooden tower with red trim.

Date Present Tower Built: c. 2000

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Directions:
The lighthouse is in a waterfront park behind the Place Caraquet shopping center off NB 11.
