This lighthouse is on the Ailsa golf course. It is still managed by the Northrn Lighthouse Board as an active aid to navigation. In 2012, it was announced that to save money the Northern Lighthouse Board would sell the lighthouse. It was sold to Trump Turnberry Resort. Tower Height: 79 Height of Focal Plane: 95 Characteristic and Range: White flash every 15 seconds, visible for 22 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White conical tower.
