Notes: Original tower was burned by the Canadian Coast Guard and destroyed in April 2011. It was replaced by a steel frame light.  Tower Height: 26  Height of Focal Plane: 23  Characteristic and Range: Flashing green every four seconds, visible for five nautical miles.  Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal wooden tower with red trim. 
 
    This light is operational 
     Date Established: 1905  Date Present Tower Built: 2011  Current Use: Active aid to navigation (seasonal).  Open To Public? Grounds only.  Directions:  Take the exit for Fisherman's Harbour off Route 211.  Follow to the wharf. To reach the lighthouse, a short boat ride is necessary out to the spit of land that forms the Harbour Channel. It is very difficult to reach on foot.
