Thanks to $1.5 million in federal funds, Canada’s Sambro Island Lighthouse is undergoing a complete restoration.
Located on an island at the entrance to Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Nova Scotia the lighthouse built in 1760 is the oldest operational lighthouse in North America. (Photos by Chris Mills.)
