It took a bit of research by Joe Follansbee to correctly compile The Fyddeye Guide to America’s Lighthouses and make this book a reality. As well as making your lighthouse travel planning easier, as the book promotes itself, it also a reasonably priced, quick reference book for anyone interested in lighthouses.

It contains information on more than 750 lighthouses that are conveniently organized by coastal region and state, with brief histories, information on lighthouses that you can stay at, maps with suggested itineraries in three coastal regions, and chapters of lightships and life-saving stations.

Soft cover with 224 pages and numerous black and white photos, we are highly recommending this book. Available through Lighthouse Digest for $17.95

All these books are available online at www.LighthouseDigest.com or by mail at P.O. Box 250, East Machias, ME 04630 or by calling 207-259-2121. Shipping charges are listed on the inside back cover of this issue.

Please remember that when you order and purchase books from Lighthouse Digest you are helping to support our efforts to research, document, archive, and report on lighthouse history.
