The event included a special proclamation from Maine's governor, as well as a State Legislative proclamation presented by State Senator Kevin Raye; and our very own editor, Tim Harrison who presented the Visitors Center with a couple of rare artifacts for permanent display at the lighthouse and a framed print of the lighthouse to George Clay who was the first president of the West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Association.
