*Photo Caption:*		Mayo's Beach Lighthouse in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as it appeared in 1915. The light station was discontinued in 1922. In 1923 the tower was removed from the site when the keeper's house was sold at auction. In 1925 the tower was shipped to California. Back to the edition of: June 2008
