Cover Caption:

This month’s cover photo is of one of America’s most recognizable lighthouses, the Statue of Liberty. Used as a lighthouse for 16 years, from 1886 until 1902, it is not very often thought of as a lighthouse, but “Lady Liberty” truly is a “Beacon of Freedom” to the world. Photograph by Mike Kelly of New Jersey.
