The 1902 Henry Island Lighthouse is located in St. George’s Bay, offshore from Cape Breton near Port Hood Island, Nova Scotia. The island is privately owned, but the lighthouse is still managed by the Canadian Coast Guard. If you search the Internet you may be able to find a copy of the book, Lighthouse Island, Our Family Escape that was written by Bill Baker in 2004 about his family’s life on the island by the lighthouse.
