Ken Wilkerson provided the group with information and a tour of the endangered Coffin Island Lighthouse. Although the erosion problem has been solved at the lighthouse, after being closed for nearly 40 years it is in need of much work. Ken, along with a number of other volunteers, was very active in having the new wall of stones installed to prevent the lighthouse from collapsing into the ocean.
