During the removal of the paint from under the living room window on the tower side of the keeper’s house, it was discovered that water leakage had caused all the clapboards and the support beams under the windows to rot. They were all replaced by Terry Rowden and the area of the water leakage was secured. Interestingly, the keeper’s house never had any insulation installed.
