Lighthouse keeper Paul Baptiste is shown here hanging from the bosun’s chair while painting the Baker’s Island Lighthouse tower. Standing on the outer walkway of the lantern room is Coastguardsman Bob Wagner. Notice that the shades or curtains were drawn in the lantern room to protect the lens from the harmful rays of the sun.
