The 1896 Coquille River Lighthouse in Oregon stands out at being unique in Carl Leick’s designs since it attaches a cylindrical tower to the octagonal fog signal building. Attached towers and octagonal structures were a part of many Leick designs from this time forward. Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2021
