Dignitaries and others taking their places just before the ceremony dedicating the William Livingstone Memorial Lighthouse on October 17, 1930. Three generations of the Livingstone family were in attendance. Just prior to the ceremony, a squadron of 15 biplanes of the First Pursuit Group from Selfridge Field made an impressive fly-over.
