The Columbia River Entrance Range Front Light is situated on the service road at the crest of the hill about three hundred feet behind the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. It helps guide ships through the channel in-between the jetties that frame the entrance to the Columbia River. Jetty A is clearly seen extending out on the left of the photo.
