Frank E. Wyman took over as assistant keeper at Cape Arago Lighthouse for more than a year when his father, Thomas, was injured there in 1898. He then served three years at Point Robinson Lighthouse in Washington, followed by five years at Oregon’s Desdemona Sands Lighthouse, until 1908 when he resigned from the service.
