Photo Caption:

The Two River Pier Lighthouse where Henry “Hank” Wierzbach served as the assistant lighthouse keeper from 1931 to 1940. The elevated walkway allowed the keeper to safely access the pier in inclement weather. In 1975 the lighthouse was removed from the pier and the upper section of the structure was installed on the grounds of the Rogers Street Fishing Village. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
