The Racine Breakwater Lighthouse in Racine. Wisconsin was one of the many aids to navigation that were taken care of by Henrik G. Olsen. In addition to taking care of the lighthouse, Henrik Olsen also had to maintain a number of harbor buoys that were reached using a small boat. He always got sick from the constant bouncing of the boat, and the fact that he did not know how to swim did not help his disposition. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
