The Original Dalatangi Lighthouse The original 1895 Dalatangi Lighthouse is a well preserved 17 foot white stucco building with a square lantern room on the roof at one end. It has a single door and a single window with a small room with a single bed and small potbellied stove that truly gives the impression that life at this lighthouse was extremely lonely and harsh. The lighthouse has been inactive since 1917 and was eventually replaced with the new Dalatang Lighthouse.
