In 1987 Boston Lighthouse keeper Joe Larnard admitted to an 18-handicap golf game on the mainland, but said that he wasn’t half bad on his own 100-yard hole on Little Brewster Island at the lighthouse. Over the years, a number of people stationed at Boston Light, admitted to golfing, but most just hit balls out into the ocean. Back to the edition of: Nov/Dec 2016
