Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse is shown here with Maine’s Portland Head Lighthouse in the distance. Before the breakwater was built, the lighthouse stood in open water and was only accessible by boat. The lighthouse is accessible via the grounds of Fort Preble and is open for tours. For tour dates you can call them at 207-699-2676.
