The cupola of the lantern of California’s Point Pinos Lighthouse was brought back to its original color of red during restoration and renovations this past July.
With its 3rd order Fresnel lens the 1855 Point Pinos Lighthouse, located in Monterey, California, is the oldest continually operating lighthouse in the state.
