This linen style post card was popular from 1930 to 1945; however some were still being produced into the 1960s. This one shows the New London Ledge Lighthouse in Connecticut, but it shows the name of the lighthouse as Southwest Ledge Lighthouse. It was postmarked July 16, 1941. The name of the lighthouse was officially changed in 1910 to the New London Ledge Lighthouse, which makes this a rare post card and highly collectible.
