This past September a Wilbur Hill Family Reunion was held at Vermont’s Isle La Motte Lighthouse. The owners of the lighthouse, Mr. & Mrs. Lucky Clark and their son Rob hosted the reunion.

The lighthouse was built in 1880 and Wilbur Hill went on to become its keeper for an amazing 47 years.

Twenty people attended the reunion including five great grandchildren, Bill Tribelhorn, Wallace Hill, Marguerite Olsenwik, Gary Hill and Lois Cameron. The five great, great grandchildren are Diane Marino, Judy Hill, Sharon Delude, Linda Batchelder and Suzanne Clark. The three great great great grandchildren are Bradley McWarter, Melanie Marino, Lexi McWarter and Pat Hill.

Isle La Motte Lighthouse was relit on Oct 5, 2002.
