Braddock Point Lighthouse as it appeared in the early 1900s. The tower was a near twin to the former Cleveland Maine Light, Ohio. When the Coast Guard discontinued the tower they tore down the upper floors claiming that the tower was deteriorating. More than likely, they simply worried about vandalism and liability problems.
