Tim Harrison (l) of The American Lighthouse Foundation presents a check, on behalf of Harbour Lights, for $32,500 to Pam Hooydunk (c) and Dot Black (r) co-chairs of the Friends of Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Harbour Lights, the nation’s leading maker of lighthouse replicas, donated the money from proceeds of the sales of its replica of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. The lighthouse is being restored by the Friends group, which is a chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation, and will eventually be opened to the public as a museum.
