Maine’s Petit Manan Lighthouse where Frederic W. Morong served as a 2nd assistant keeper from April 15, 1890 to November 7, 1890. The 1854 tower stands 119 feet tall and replaced an earlier tower that had been built in 1817. Many of the buildings shown in this vintage photograph no longer stand.
