Pigeon Point Lighthouse as U.S. Coast Guard keeper Bud Stevens knew it in the early 1950s. In 1960, in spite of being in good condition, the Coast Guard demolished the four-plex keeper’s house at the site and replaced it with modern housing. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
