The United States Coast Guard crew that assembled the rare 2nd order Fresnel lens from Boon Island Lighthouse took a moment to pose for this historic photograph when the assembly was finished. (L-R) John Mauro, Tony Farr, Dave Waldrip (kneeling), Lee Neeman kneeling, Matt Lubowicki, (standing right back) and Hugh Hicks. CWO Tony Farr, a specialist in the field of Fresnel lens came from Yorktown, PA to oversee the delicate procedure.
