Although, not a lighthouse in the real sense of the word, in 1939, this metal Erector-Set-style structure served as the sixth beacon to mark the Dunkirk Pierhead. It was in use until 1992, when it was moved to the grounds of the Dunkirk Lighthouse and Veterans Park Museum. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2023
