Charles M. Below was the 2nd assistant keeper at Point Cabrillo Light Station on January 1, 1910, when Walter sent this photo postcard to Frankie. He wrote: “Dearest Wife, This is Charlie’s house where I am living. My room is in the front upstairs, nice looking house.” Walter helped construct the station and dwellings as a district engineer.
