Veteran lighthouse keeper Andrew A. McLintock served as an assistant keeper under head keeper Martin L. Sowle, Sr. at Stamford Harbor Lighthouse from 1937 to 1941. He had previously served at Eatons Neck Lighthouse in New York, Sperry Light in Connecticut, Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse in Connecticut, and Esopus Meadows Light in New York. After Stamford Harbor Lighthouse, he went on to serve at Southwest Ledge Lighthouse in Connecticut. Andrew A. McLintock passed away on June 24, 1984.
