The Yaquina Head Interpretive Center, just up the road from the lighthouse, was opened in 1997. Besides lighthouse history, exhibits also feature seabirds, marine life, and the history of the headland. Additionally, there is an onsite store run by the Friends of Yaquina Lighthouses.
