Right and below: The light at Cape Disappointment was first exhibited on October 15, 1856. It had a 1st order Fresnel lens for the first 40 years of operation until it was swapped out for a 4th order lens in 1896 due to North Head Lighthouse being constructed. Back to the edition of: Nov/Dec 2019
