The painted bands on the 1956 Storybook Land lighthouse were a close match to the daymark on Sapelo Island Lighthouse in Georgia. The faux daymark remained painted that way until the Fantasyland area rehab in 1983 when it changed to replicate West Quoddy Head Light’s daymark of red and white alternating bands.
