Howard Sylvester Fawcett A U.S. Navy veteran, Howard S. Fawcett (1902-1967), was the head Coast Guard keeper of the Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse from 1943 to 1945. He had previously been the head keeper of the Anacapa Island Lighthouse near Port Hueneme, California from 1937 to 1943. He and his wife Bessie had two children. Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2018
