Lighthouse keeper Robert Jefferson Fine is shown here with his third wife Ada Louise Sweeting Johnson whom he married at Key West, Florida in 1919. It is unclear where he was stationed when this photo was taken. But the letter “1” on his jacket lapel indicates that he was a 1st assistant keeper at the time. However, it is known that in 1919 he was stationed at Dry Tortugas Lighthouse (Loggerhead Key) near Key West, Florida. (Photograph courtesy of Jackie Atwood, his great granddaughter.)
