The Neuse River Lighthouse was built in 1828 on a shoal off Piney Point at the south entrance to the Neuse River in Pamilco Sound near Cedar Point, North Carolina. Sadly, this lighthouse no longer stands. Back to the edition of: Jul/Aug 2016
