$24,000 was awarded to the Gull Rock Lightkeepers for the Gull Rock Lighthouse. The 1867 lighthouse is on a small island in Lake Superior, two miles east of Keweenaw Point. The lighthouse is located on an island in Lake Superior near Keweenaw Point. The grant money will be used to hire a consultant to prepare plans, specifications and a cost estimate to rehabilitate the interior of the lighthouse.
