The assembled replica lantern fabricated to the original plans by Moran Iron Works of Onaway, Michigan. The lantern will be hoisted onto a flatbed truck in late April and trucked to Mackinaw City where it will be lifted by crane to its new home atop the tower of the McGulpin Point lighthouse.
