August 2009

Our cover this month is the latest work of art by Maine artist Alan Claude featuring the Doubling Point Lighthouse on the Kennebec River in Maine. Navy ships built by Bath Iron Works pass this lighthouse, along with a few other river lights, on their way out to the Atlantic Ocean to serve the U.S. Navy.
