Notes:
In September of 2011, ownership of the lighthouse was transferred to the City of Kewaunee. However, the lighthouse, is cared for, and, being restored by the Friends of Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse.

Description of Tower: White, square cast iron tower attached to fog signal building.

Date Established: 1891

Date Present Tower Built: 1931

Optics: 1931: Fifth order Fresnel lens; the Fresnel lens was removed from tower in June 2019 and replaced with an LED beacon. The original Fresnel lens was given to Kewaunee County Historical Society for display.

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? No.

Directions:
This lighthouse is at the end of a breakwater on the south side of the entrance to the Kewaunee River. It is not open to the public; it is best seen by boat.
