This lighthouse was replaced by an automated light on a skeletal pole in 1976. Since then it has been increasingly endangered by neglect and vandalism. It is now one of the most endangered lighthouses in the United States. Tower Height: 60 Height of Focal Plane: 80 Description of Tower: White, conical brick tower; lantern removed.
