Notes:
This light served as the front range light for the old Hoek van Holland Hoge Licht, or rear range light. With the building of the Europort in the 1960s, which extended the shore line a considerable distance, both of the Hoek van Holland lights became redundant, as they were now too far inland. The Maasvlakte Light, along with the new Hoek van Holland lights, replaced the old lights. The lage licht, or front range light was moved to the Het Havenmuseum as part of their outdoor exhibit. (Thanks to Joost Keesing.)
