Wood End Light can be reached by walking across a breakwater at the west end of Commercial Street. The walk is fairly strenuous and the breakwater is exposed to waves and spray in rough weather. You can also take a water shuttle to Long Point -- call Flyer's at (508) 487-0898 or (800) 750-0898. The walk from Long Point to Wood End is a couple of miles over soft sand.
