This lighthouse was built by Jim Gibbs, author of lighthouse books and former keeper of Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. It is a replica of the 1898 Fiddle Reef Lighthouse in Vancouver. The lighting apparatus is from Solander Island off the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC. It was reccognized as an aid to navigation in 1979.

Characteristic and Range: 5 white flashes and 1 red flash every minute.

Description of Tower: White, square, pyramidal wooden tower.
