Notes:
This lighthouse is located within the Orford Ness National Nature Reserve; see www.nationaltrust.org.uk/orfordness/ for information. In July 2013 Trinity House decommissioned the lighthouse and left it to the elements and the approaching sea. Because of the restrictions of the Orford Ness National Nature Preserve and the delicate eco-system where the lighthouse stood, it could not be moved. In July 2020, the lighthouse was dismantled with hopes that sections of it could be saved for display elsewhere.
