This lighthouse was acquired by the Municipality of East Hants in 1991, and it was given Heritage Status in 1992.

Directions:
From Route 101 or 102, follow Route 215 to Walton. In Walton, signs will direct you. The lighthouse is open from May 1 to October 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Entrance is by donation.
